(7) John Cena beat WWE champion Alberto Del Rio via DQ; Del Rio retained the WWE Title. As expected, Cena's entrance blew the roof off of the K-Rock Centre. While the usual vocal males were doing their best to temper the rest of the crowd, it was clearly pro-Cena. Del Rio was fantastic in this match. The finish saw a ref-bump and Cena slap Del Rio in the STF, which saw Ricardo intervene and hit Cena with a chair. However, Cena sent the crowd home happy, with a chair shot to Ricardo and an AA on Del Rio.
